Standard timber deck boards do not fulfil BS criteria for slip resistance. To achieve low risk of slip in both wet and dry conditions, Timberscapes can supply specially manufactured boards with additional aggregate strips. Alternatively, composite or PVC boards with textured surface can also achieve this.
Using an assessed slip resistant board is valuable when producing risk assessments for the end use of the deck.
