A large expanse of boring grey paving slabs was becoming a trip hazard as tree roots were disturbing the slabs. The tree was an attractive feature that had to be kept.
The Timberscapes Solution, get rid of the hideous paving and replace with a deck. This had the added benefit of raising the finished surface level to the door sills of the ajoining buildings, granting level access for wheel chairs.
The deck was constructed around the tree, with built in seating.
The project combined with the installation of a new bike stand.
