Your TimberScapes decking project will be an enjoyable experience. Improvements to property have a reputation for being stressful occasions. To ensure this is not the case for you, the five step process from first contact to final completion, and beyond, is straight forward and clearly explained.

  1. Following first contact we will visit your property for a design consultation and site survey. During this visit we will carefully listen to all the ideas, aspirations and expectations you have for your deck. We will also discuss issues of use, visual impact, size and shape, structural considerations and budget. You will be shown samples of the products we install and an explanation of the benefits of different materials and construction techniques.

  2. Following this meeting we will prepare a variety of design suggestions to present to you.

  3. When you are entirely satisfied with the proposals and price we will establish a start date for the on site work to begin.

  4. Our principle is to remain on each individual project from start to finish. This ensures your deck is constructed in the swiftest possible timescale, and minimises any disruption to you, the customer. During the construction process we will consult you throughout to ensure the completed project is exactly what you had hoped it would be.

  5. Following completion we will supply you with a written guarantee and simple aftercare advice.



Comercial

TimberScapes undertake commercial contracts; direct with the end user, working through architects and landscape architects, or on a sub contractor basis.

All TimberScapes projects are carefully scheduled to ensure our high standards of quality are achieved within an agreed time span.

As well as the more regularly specified treated timber we also install specialist timbers and treatments.

These include:

  • Non Com Exterior Fire retardant timber treatment to BS476
  • Non Com Exterior by Arch Chemicals is a timber treatment first developed in the 1970’s and used throughout the world. It is a highly effective means of preventing both surface spread of flame (Class 1) and fire propagation (Class O).

It is ideal for use on timber decking in locations where fire is particularly dangerous, e.g. on the tops of buildings or on caravan parks.

The treatment is also a preservative against rot and does not leach out, thus it will remain effective for the lifespan of the timber.
